Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not collect, upload, store or sell your photos. On this website every tool runs inside your browser. In the Android app all processing happens on your device. There is no account to create.

Photos and files

When you use the grid maker or the compressor, the image you choose is read into your browser's memory and processed on a canvas on your own machine. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is discarded when you close or reload the page. The Android app works the same way: images are read from your device, processed on your device, and written back to your device.

Information we collect

Website

Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure.

Analytics on this website

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use, and Microsoft Clarity to record anonymised usage — heatmaps and session replays showing where people click and scroll. Both set cookies or similar identifiers and receive technical data such as your approximate location, device, browser and referring page.

Neither one can see your photos, and neither one records what you make here. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser — your images are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, so there is nothing for analytics to capture. A session replay shows the buttons you pressed, not the picture you were editing.

Advertising

This site may display advertising supplied by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and review how Google uses data at google.com/policies/technologies/partner-sites. Advertising never receives your photos — it cannot, because they never leave your device.

Android app

The app displays advertising through Google AdMob, which may collect a device advertising identifier and similar technical data to serve and measure ads. The app does not ask for an account, an email address or a name.

Permissions the app asks for

• Photos and media — to let you choose an image to edit and to save the result back to your gallery.
• Internet — to load advertising. The editing tools themselves work offline.

Children

Tilo Grid is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because we do not hold your photos or any account data, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, write to us and we will act on it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
